ARIS STRING QUARTET
Founded in Frankfurt Main, Germany in 2009, the Aris Quartet, continues to perform to this day with its original members. The ensemble’s success is no coincidence having quickly achieved its international breakthrough by earning numerous first prizes at prestigious competitions. The musicians have also been honored as ECHO Rising Stars by the European Concert Hall Organization, were among the BBC’s New Generation Artists, and have won five awards at the ARD International Music Competition in Munich.

POIESIS QUARTET
First Prize winner of this year’s Banff International String Quartet Competition. This will be the winning quartet’s debut North American concert tour.

WEBERN STRING QUARTET
Founded in Los Angeles in 2022, the Webern Quartet has been featured in The New Yorker, where they were praised as having “found the through line of Schoenberg’s personality.” The Webern Quartet chose the name of Anton Webern, former student of Arnold Schoenberg, whose important string quartet oeuvre has been the starting point of the quartet. Next to their dedication to the works of the composers from the Second Viennese School, the Webern Quartet is known for its committed and intimate interpretations of works from the classical repertoire to newly written music.

THE LOW DOWN DUO
While performing Rossini, why not break into Latin beats? The Low Down Duo started as a fun experiment, mixing up traditional classical repertoire by composers such as Rossini and Haydn with Brazilian music, Argentine tangos, blues and even a bit of Sinatra! The combination has proven to be a hit with audiences.
Never losing their grasp on their classical roots, The Low Down Duo weaves new styles into the mix, creating entertaining and compelling performances.

YU&I DUO
Winners of the Beverly Hills National Auditions, YuEun Gemma Kim and Ines Thomé, share a remarkable story that began a decade ago. Back then, they were two aspiring musicians from different corners of the globe, YuEun from Korea and Ines from Germany. Serendipitously, they became housemates in a charming Victorian spot in Los Angeles while studying at USC’s Thornton School of Music. Their instant connection stemmed from a shared passion for chamber music and a mutual love for delectable Korean cuisine.

New Hollywood String Quartet
The New Hollywood String Quartet had its debut concert in Los Angeles on Jan. 9, 2001 and has been performing to critical acclaim ever since. Inspired by the great Hollywood String Quartet from over half a century ago, the current members of the NHSQ are likewise premiere performers of their generation.

Thalea String Quartet with Michelle Cann
Formed in 2014 at the Zephyr International Chamber Music Festival in Courmayeur, Italy, the Thalea String Quartet has been praised for their "vibrant performance" and "sincere expressivity".​ The quartet has has appeared at the Kennedy Center, Massey Hall, and Weill Hall and were the first quartet-in-residence at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
